Our origin
SightLine began with a shared belief: there is a better way to build a company, and a better way to bring technology into the wildfire community.
Our founders, James, Stefano, and Brandon, met in 2024 while working together at a FireTech startup. Coming from different professional backgrounds, they quickly discovered a shared respect for the mission, the people, and the best traditions of the fire service: trust, accountability, humility, service, and an unwavering commitment to the team.
They also recognized an opportunity to build something different.
They wanted to preserve what makes fire culture exceptional while leaving behind the outdated practices and unhealthy leadership patterns that can prevent people and organizations from reaching their full potential. They envisioned a company where strong leadership and operational credibility reinforce one another and where technology is shaped by the realities of the field, not developed in isolation from them.
That vision became SightLine Advisory Group.
Today, our mission is to integrate technology with field operations to strengthen wildfire preparedness and response, support the suppression of catastrophic wildfires, and help mission-driven companies deliver solutions that earn the confidence of the people who use them.
